The person i admire in my field is Carl Rogers, he is a psychologist who developed and create the current humanism. He was born on January 8th in 1902, in Illinois, Estados Unidos. He studied at the Faculty of agriculture. However, in 1939 published the clinical treatment of the problematic child, this book permit that him win a professorship in psychology clinical in University in Ohio. In 1942, published Counseling and Psychotherapy, this is the basis for the humanism of psychology. 

He is development the current humanism, focuses on client-centered-therapy, not only center in relationship between therapist and client but also on human interactions. The role of the therapist is to listen empathetically way and he says that thetherapy should be a safe place, where exist the acceptance unconditional. 

I like that in his current he focuses on the person and his problems, and how he solves them through therapy.
